ServiceNow Native Mobile
Role: UX/UI Mobile Designer Intern
When: Summer 2019
Duration: 12 Weeks
This past summer I was given the opportunity to work with an incredible team at ServiceNow in Santa Clara, California. The experience was not only life changing, but helped me to fully understand the kind of work I want to do and showed me how interested I am in the future of work.
While I can’t share much about the projects I worked on over the summer, I will say that working at ServiceNow was something I thought only existed in dreams. I learned a great deal about how to tell more cohesive stories and how to shape experiences using pre-established components. I worked directly on various features with my mentor and manager. From them I was able to observe and adopt the ServiceNow design process.
I spent a majority of the summer collaborating with developers to design, prototype and develop a scalable multi-scan feature within the ServiceNow App for Field Service Technicians. I also spent a large amount of time working on a visionary products that would help shape the future of work. This is when I realized I enjoy the level of innovation that this project was on more than anything I’ve ever done.
I am so thankful, and feel so privileged to have been given this experience. I could talk for hours about everything I did this summer so if you’d like to hear more, please ask!
